“It really is the best thing to be a member of such an active community of runners,” said 10K winner Ben Tootle. “Some runs are harder than others—and we all have our unique strengths—but really there is nothing like being a part of a community that can push and encourage you. I am super grateful to be a part of the Run Club.”

The Azalea Trail Run is one of Mobile’s most prominent running events, attracting athletes ranging from first-time participants to seasoned competitors. Known for its scenic route through historic downtown and live entertainment along the course, the event continues to celebrate health and community.

The Run Club meets twice weekly: Tuesdays at the intramural fields and Thursdays at the Glenn Sebastian Fields. Both sessions begin at 6 a.m. and are open to students of all running levels.
