Homecoming 2019 Preview

It is that time of year again! South Alabama’s Homecoming game against Appalachian State University is next Saturday, Oct. 26. Leading up to the game the university will be hosting a variety of activities for students, faculty, staff, and community members to enjoy and get in the Jag spirit!

The events will include:

Monday, Oct. 21: 

  • Junk The Jungle from 6-7 p.m. at the USA Traffic Circle

Tuesday, Oct. 22: 

  • BSU Day Party from 2-5 p.m. in the Sorority Commons
  • Battle of the DJs in the Student Center Ballroom, Doors: 6:30 and Show 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 23:

  • Photo Booth Buttons from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Student Center East Lobby
  • Fun Fest from 6-9 p.m. in the Student Center

Thursday, Oct. 24:

  • Make Your Own Dog Tags from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Student Center Mall
  • Homecoming Concert featuring T-Pain in the Mitchell Center, Doors: 7 p.m. Show: 8 p.m. (Find tickets at the Mitchell Center Box Office or online at Mitchell Center Website)

Friday, Oct. 25:

  • Homecoming Parade at 6 p.m. Down South Drive ending at The Mitchell Center
  • Homecoming Pep Rally at 6:45 p.m. at the Mitchell Center North Plaza
  • NPHC Homecoming Step Show: “Battle of the Greeks,” Doors: 6:30 p.m. Show: 7:30 p.m. at the Mitchell Center
  • Volleyball vs Georgia Southern at the Jag Gym at 6:30 p.m.
  • Soccer vs Appalachian State at The Cage at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 26:

  • USA Jaguars vs Appalachian State University
