The following months were filled with several changes and updated procedures to ensure everyone’s safety.  For South, graduation ceremonies had to be altered right away. “It definitely wasn’t how I have always pictured graduation to be like,” Drew Golfos, USA Fall 2020 graduate said. Still, people are pressing on to make the better of these unfortunate situations. Classes, athletic events, and clubs took a big hit in participation, and the university altered students’ graduation dates in numerous ways. Some students, both in undergraduate and graduate levels, had to wait to graduate due to the effects of COVID-19.
